The GME System facilitates a collaborative effort from multiple departments in the management of GME and the benefits are enormous. One of the key areas of ROI is reimbursement reporting. Transactional data captured in the day to day operations of GME is leveraged to produce accurate and timely reimbursement reports without necessitating concerted effort from reimbursement analysts.
The evaluations module of The GME System not only facilitates automated notification (E-mail), management (overdue notices, listing of completions, etc.) and completion (web based form is filled out by each evaluator) but also is a pathway to measuring competencies, skills and other concepts that are important in today's GME landscape.

Scheduling is an integral part of The GME System. The user friendly interface is very similar to Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes and the other popular PIM (personal information management) applications available today. All relevant activities and locations specific for a program are immediately available and residents can be scheduled in a snap. 
Resident information is a cornerstone of The GME System. Baseline demographic information such as birth date, etc. is just the beginning. All data that is captured can be leveraged later for processes such as E-mail notification of credentials expiring so they can be proactively managed. Visas, addresses (even post-graduate), education, and other vital information can be securely stored and disseminated appropriately.
Clinical activity tracking is simplified in The GME System. Using common handheld devices, entry takes place at point of care. Resident entry is simplified and streamlined through the creation of program specific "profiles". Procedures are codified using CPT codes and all other data is defined by each program to facilitate easy entry.
Delivery of The GME System has options that are tailored to your organization. The system can exist in-house on your organization's equipment and infrastructure (traditional licensing) or can be delivered directly from our hosting facilities (ASP licensing). The system operates on standard and readily available hardware and software platforms.
